  • K & K Racing's B-1 powered Top Sportsman won the IHRA Division 3 points meet at Tri State Dragway in Hamilton,Ohio
  • Joe Boniferro won the May Pro Mod Shoot-Out at Grand Bend Dragway in Grand Bend , Ontario, Canada. As the LONE Mopar contestant with his supercharged B-1 Avenger.
  • Bob Bastian became the first "Koffel's Place Allied Squadron Member" to post a win with his Super/Pro victory at Quaker City Raceway May 17th.
  • Frank Teague was the Top Sportsman Champion at the IHRA Pro Am Division 9 points meet at Rockingham Dragway with his B-1 powered Avenger.
  • Ray Tartabini with his B-1 power....won his class and was S/S runner-up at the Chrysler Classic at Tri State Dragway in Hamilton,OH.
  • Tom Hemphill was Top Sportsman R/U at the IHRA Division 1 Points Meet at Beaver Springs, PA
  • Frank Teague, the long standing "Flite Commander" of the B-1 Squadron was the Top Sportsman Champion....over a sea of GM the IHRA Motor City Nationals at Milan, Michigan.
  • Joe Boniferro wins the Pro Mod Labor Day Spectacular at Toronto Motorsports Park with the world's quickest Mopar B-1 wedge.
  • Mike Sulc wins Super Pro at Island Dragway, NJ.
  • Jim Tomlinson - Chrysler Classic at Norwalk Raceway Park, winner of Friday night Box Race
  • Mike Shafer - Chrysler Classic at Norwalk Raceway Park,- R/U Quick 16
  • Tom Hemphill - Chrysler Classic at Norwalk Raceway Park, #1 Door Qualifier for Q-16
  • Russ Wheeler - Chrysler Classic, Norwalk Raceway Park, #1 Open Body Qualifier for Q-16
  • Doyle Whited - Chrysler Classic at Norwalk Raceway Park, Big Dog Winner
  • Frank Teague - Top Sportsman winner at the IHRA Division 2 Pro-Am race at Carolina Dragway, Jackson, SC
  • Tom Hemphill - Top Sportsman R/U at the IHRA Division 1 Pro-Am race at Pittsburgh Raceway Park
  • Caffey Broadus - Runner-up by .015 for the S/G Championship at the NHRA Mid-South Nationals in Memphis, TN
  • Joe Boniferro - Top Sportsman #1 Qualifier at the IHRA President's Cup event at Budd's Creek, MD with a 6.509 pass
  • Joe Harper - the lone Mopar B1 S/G entry at the NHRA O" Reilly Fall Nationals in Dallas. With his Dodge Avenger he runner-upped in an extremely tight S/G final
  • Eric Saydlowski is the 2003 Northeast Super Street Association Champion with his 440 B1/BS 1973 Dart Sport.
  • Joe Boniferro - #1 Qualifier at the Summit Classic XXX Moser Top Gun Shootout
  • Joe Boniferro - Winner of the Oddy's / G-Force Frantic 4 Shootout at the Summit Classic XXX
  • Ken Bowers (SG1160) wins Super Gas at NHRA Div. I points race at Maple Grove 9/03.

    Some of our Mission Accomplished Winners from the 2002 season were:

  • Tony Marculewicz...with his B-1 Powered Green Duster won "King of the Street" at both Rockingham, NC and Englishtown, NJ Mopar Meets.
  • Joe Boniferro's B-1 Powered supercharged Avenger did his country proud as he qualified #1 in Top Sportsman at the Canadian Nationals in Grand Bend, Ontario
  • Joe Bonifero won Pro-Mod with his supercharged B-1 Avenger at the Can-Am Nats at St. Thomas Dragway in Ontario, Canada
  • Tom Hemphill with his B-1 powered Barracuda was T/S Runner/up at the Beaver Springs, Pa. IHRA Points meet and was also the Quick-16 R/U at Norwalk Dragway's Night of Fire.
  • Dale Boyer a member of our" Allied Squadron" won Street Eliminator at Norwalk Dragway's "Night of Fire"
  • Tom Scalzo was a winner at the National Tractor Puller's Event at Monster Hall..Unity, Wisc. in the Modified 4 Wheel Drive Catagory with his B-1 T/S powered 99 Dodge Ram.
  • Michael & Kim Scheel's ''Buckeye Shaker'' and test dragster for Koffel's Place/B-1 Heads won Top Dragster honors at the IHRA Div. 3 Points Meet at Kanawha Valley Raceway, WV
  • Kevin Wicke & Kevin Zimmer of K & K Racing were runner-up in Top Sportsman at the IHRA Carquest Northern Nationals at Martin, the big ''red-eye'' thwarted their victory attempt. In the semi final round they beat their B-1 team mate, Frank Teague by 0.0001….talk about tight margins!!!!
  • At the IHRA Nationals at Toronto Motorsports Park the dynamic B-1 duo of Joe Boniferro and Tom Hemphill qualified #1 and #2 in Top Sportsman.
  • After a frantic and involved effort to get his new engine done and delivered to Brainerd, Minn., Sheldon Gecker rewarded everyone involved with a Hollywood Style" winning the Super Gas Championship at the NHRA Rugged Liner Nationals.
  • Tony Marculewicz with his B-1 powered Duster chinched the 2002 Mopar "King of the Street" Championship at Gateway International Dragway in St. Louis, MO.
  • Mike Kokenes was the fastest B-1 door car in the Quick -16 at the Monster Mopar Weekend in St. Louis.
  • Joe Harper was Runner/up by a mere 0.002 seconds in the Super Gas final at the NHRA Mid South Nationals in Memphis, Tenn.
  • Kevin Riley won the Super Gas Championship at the NHRA Division 6 race in Medford, OR.
  • Neither rain, one buy-back and 9 rounds in Super Pro kept Tammy Rankl from winning the $10,000 prize at Kil-Kare Dragway in Xenia,Oh. with her B-1 powered dragster.
  • It was all "TREATS" and no "TRICKS" as the "B-1 BOYS" dominated at Norwalk's 29th annual Halloween Classic. "Smokin" Joe Boniferro with his B-1 Supercharged Avenger won the "Frantic Four" and was #1 Qualifier for the Top Gun Q-16 with a 6.46..215MPH and Tom Hemphill with his nitrous assisted B-1 Barracuda won the Top Gun Q-16 and with that same win cinched the Norwalk 2002 Q-16 Championship.
  • Tom Scalzo won the 2002 WTPA/NTPA Points Championship with his B-1 T/S powered Modified 4 Wheel Truck. It is the first time in about 30 years that a Mopar has won in this catagory.
  • Kenny Yeoman of Las Vegas, NV wins Super Gas at the NHRA final at Pamona,Ca. and Joe the same event, finishes 3rd in points, nationally, in NHRA Super Gas for the 2002 season.
  • Dale Hayes finished first in points for the 2002 Classic Series (Hot Rod 1) at Los Angeles County Raceway.
  • For the first time a B1powered entry cracked the top 10 in the National Tractor Pullers Assoc. Grand National Series. Todd Gross with his "Journeyman" 2001 Dakota 4WD Mod finished in the #8 spot in a large field of GM Profilers & Pontiacs & Ford Hemis.
